Hot on the heals of our digital single release for “En Fluxx” yesterday, here are some details about that Guided By Voices tribute album (No More Fake Labels) that we recorded a cover of “Little Lines” for!

  • The title of the album is Sing For Your Meat
  • Release date: Record Store Day! [April 16, 2011]
  • The cd version will include a 5-song digital ep (our track is on the ep)
  • There will be a DOUBLE mixed color 12” vinyl LP set including ALL tracks
  • In addition to Marie Stella, there are tracks by Thurston Moore, Lou Barlow, Flaming Lips, Western Civ, and more!

Almost exactly a year prior to this coming release, we played a Record Store Day show at Newbury Comics and gave away cd singles of “Message From Limbo!”

We just released a brand new digital single! “En Fluxx” has been a live favorite for a few months, and this is the first recording of it. The b-side is “Jealous Powers,” an early Marie Stella song that you may have heard a demo version of, now in full hi-fi glory. Both tracks will be free (in exchange for an email addy) for one month. These recordings are the first in a planned series of sessions throughout 2011 with Ron Harrity at Forest City Studios in South Portland, Maine. Enjoy!
